"Coaching Winners...Mentoring Success!"

The two principals of AMG are natives of St. Louis, proud of it and believe in giving back to their local community. Our two principals and current leaders collectively have served as a volunteer founder, officer or advisory board member to over seventy groups in the civic, charity, business and political arenas and helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy causes.

Also, they have worked with many other worthy local, regional and national causes to give back to their local community and help promote goodwill for their own hometown. Together they co-founded the St. Louis 1904 World's Fair Charitable Foundation (www.1904stl.com) on March 14, 2002. This continues to be an all-volunteer not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) public charity that raises money for the Forest Park 'beautification program', the St. Louis Zoo and other worthy charities that need help with event planning and fundraising for their cause.

St. Louis is the birthplace of AMG and its principals, Cicardi A. Bruce and Richard T. Pisani. They've enjoyed business success and believe in giving back to their community every chance the get. With help from a great team they co-founded the St. Louis 1904 World's Fair Charitable Foundation on March 14, 2002. This non-profit is an all-volunteer public charity that raises funds for the Forest Park 'beautification program', the St. Louis Zoo and other local worthy charities that need help.

Saint Louis

community * diversity * history

Our Saint Louis 1904 World's Fair Charitable Foundation was originally set up on March 14, 2002 at the Top of the Chase Hotel with nearly one thousand attendees and the event was emceed by KMOV TV-4 News Anchors Julius Hunter and Vicki Newton. VIP's that launched us at the microphone that evening included Missouri Governor Bob Holden, St. Louis City Mayor Francis Slay, St. Louis County Executive 'Buzz' Westfall, Archbishop Justin Rigali, Saint Louis Ambassadors President Frank Ferrara and a host of celebrities and reporters from radio, television and newsprint media. Governor Holden gave our newly formed all-volunteer public charity a mission, which was to eagerly "celebrate the 100 Year Anniversary of both the 1904 World's Fair & III Olympiad in Forest Park throughout the year of 2004" as a salute to our forefathers who placed St. Louis in the eyes of the world circa 1900. Cicardi A. Bruce was appointed Chairman and Richard T. Pisani was appointed President of the organization at this event. They announced that our all-volunteer group would "sponsor and/or co-sponsor a variety of celebratory events for the families and businesses in our metropolitan area with a diverse group of individuals from all walks of life and would gather grass roots support for the residents from the bi-state St. Louis Region of 2.8M residents, 193K businesses and over one thousand registered non-profits.

Once our all-volunteer group had accomplished its original goal by the year end of 2004 our team could have dissolved, Instead, because we had no overhead, were driven by all-volunteers and had momentum as a community service group we decided to stay together. We changed our mission, goals and objectives to help raise funds for the Forest Park 'beautification program', the St. Louis Zoo and other local charities. Since our non-profit status had no sunset as a 501 (c) (3) public charity and was approved by the Internal Revenue Service in July of 2002 with Federal ID number of # 43-1967243 we had the right to continue performing community service projects that would help others in the St. Louis Region. Our charity's IRS Form 990-EZ 501 (c) (3) and fiscal reports have always been made available to the public with a simple phone call to our tax attorney and Founding Charter Member, Mr. Sean Clancy, who is our charity's Secretary/Treasurer & Legal Counsel and can be called at 314-726-6868 or contacted via email at spc@rgsz.com to secure a copy of our IRS returns, which is mandated by law. Also, we make our IRS Form 990 available on our charity's website, which can be accessed at our website at www.1904stl.com. Additionally, we host six board meetings every year and Mr. Clancy gives the attendees an update of our income, expenses, deposits, donations, etc. so that all are informed on a regular basis. In a few cases we will directly 'host and be the main sponsor' of an event to benefit another non-profit and we will collect the donations directly and mail all or a portion of the net proceeds to the selected group(s). However, and in the majority of the cases, our organization takes the position as a 'co-host and becomes a co-sponsor' of an event for an organization and we have the donors write the checks directly to that group. We prefer to help plan, execute and provide volunteers as a 'co-sponsor' for other organizations that need support and not get involved in the collection and distribution of their funds.

We had a goal to salute and honor our forefathers for hosting both the 1803 Louisiana Purchase Exposition, which is best known as the 1904 World's Fair and the III Olympiad at the turn of the century in Forest Park. Once the seven month long fair and eighteen weeks of competitive Olympic Games were over the fifteen hundred buildings. structures and statues that were made of 'staff' were torn down. The good news is that it left us immediately with a new Forest Park, the Bird Cage and the Art Museum. Several years later they built the now famous St. Louis Zoo, the World's Fair Pavilion, the Jewel Box and the Jefferson Memorial, which is the headquarters for the MO History Museum. Our park and zoo are rated in the 'Top Ten' in the U.S. and also is home to beautiful lakes, streams, water-falls, walking trails, biking trails, exercise areas, athletic fields, professional tennis courts and competitive golf courses.

Missouri Governor Bob Holden hand-picked a team to launch the St. Louis 1904 World's Fair Charitable Foundation on 3-14-02 at the Top of the Chase Hotel. Our all-volunteer charity was set up to host the celebratory events in Forest Park in 2004 for the 100 Year Anniversary of the 1904 World's Fair & III Olympiad. The still current "Advisory Board" and 'Honorary Advisory Board' is the best that any organization could ever hope to build. It's a unique group because it includes an all-volunteer group of diverse individuals that want to help raise funds for the Forest Park 'beautification program', the St. Louis Zoo and other local charities.

Since 2002, and as a matter of protocol, the current MO Governor, MO Lt. Governor, St. Louis County Executive and St. Louis City Mayor head up the Honorary Advisory Board, which includes many of our Missouri's U.S. Senators, U.S. Congressmen, MO State Senators and MO State Representatives. It also includes a variety of local VIP's that include successful business individuals, radio talk-show hosts, television news anchors and professional athletes. To this day we are an all-volunteer charity that's out to help our St. Louis Metropolitan Region help on event planning and fundraising.

The Chairman of our 1904 World's Fair Charitable Foundation, Cicardi A. Bruce, plus our foundations Advisory Board Member and his beautiful wife, Susan Bruce, hosted another 'white-tie, tails and ball gown affair' at their lovely home in Chesterfield, MO. They donated a very rare item to the Zoo Ado, which was "The Last Dinner on the Titanic: Menus and Recipes from the Great Liner" to help raise much needed funds for the top-ranked St. Louis Zoo nestled on the edge of the city's other gem...Forest Park. This was the second time the community-minded pair donated this interesting and historical auction item. Cicardi loves to prepare and cook every menu item himself. Their first dinner was a twelve course gourmet delight right out of the Great Liners history book with a giant keg of ice placed in their hot-tub that ended the dinner to depict the infamous iceberg that caused the accident. The couple streamlined this second dinner down to five courses, one which included squab that Cicardi hunted himself for this event.

The auction item winner this year for the "Titanic Dinner" was non-other than Cicardi and Susan's close friend, Barry Cervantes, who is the son of our famous 1960's Mayor for the City of St. Louis, A.J. Cervantes. The eight dinner guests pictured below attended Zoo Ado to help raise over one hundred thousand dollars at this bi-annual gala, auction and fundraiser for the St. Louis Zoo.

C0-chairs, Cicardi A. Bruce and Richard T. Pisani helped Executive Director, Dave Hatfield, launch the Heritage League Founders for the American Cancer Society (ACS). This group was established to raise much-needed money for an endowment fund for on-going cancer research across our country and at the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis. The two co-chaired a twenty two member professional 'Advisory Board' made up of certified public accountants, tax attorneys and wealth managers. The professionals would set up Charitable Remainder Trusts for their wealthy clients who would then donate their property or money to ACS, which would give a tax benefit to the donor and eventually leave an asset to ACS to conduct research.

At the "3rd. Annual Spirit of Hope Awards Gala' ACS recognized the top doctors involved in cancer research in St. Louis. Plus, Cicardi, Rich, Dave gave their twenty two member team credit in front of the 400 attendees because they beat the original goal of raising $1.5M compared to the $9.2M raised in thirty six months.
